Anton couldn't help but feel nervous as he stepped up the gangplank onto the marine transport. He was getting transferred over to the North Blue, a sea said to be filled with more danger compared to the relatively calm East Blue. Well, anywhere was more dangerous than the East Blue to be honest. Anton's most recent accomplishments were apparently enough to convince the higher ups that his talents were better suited elsewhere. Anton wasn't so sure what those talents were. He had completed those assignments out of sheer luck. He was simply convinced that his superiors were going to get him killed. Can't they just discharge him from the marines already?
Still, he couldn't go against an order. And right now, that order was to get on that ship and be taken to the North Blue. He knew that would involve going through Reverse Mountain, a place he had heard was highly dangerous and caused many a wreck. Though he did hear that the marines had a much safer way of going through it. That was a relief.
As Anton sat down in his quarters, he could hear the men working up top. Before long, the ship began to drift lazily out of Loguetown and onto the big blue sea.
