General Appearance: Kenshin only has one outfit, a large collection of white undershirts and grey suits with pink ties and a few pairs of shiny black shoes. He wears them at all occasions, excluding going swimming where he instead strips down to his boxers to jump in the water. His suits however, actually have a ballistic weave that provides some minor protection while making them more durable than the average suit. It's not powerful enough to stop a bullet quite as effective as kevlar can, but it can keep a potentially lethal injury down to only being a very serious one that requires hospitalization.
He tends to give off a rather unassuming air about himself, looking like an average businessman, though he would consider himself slightly above-average on the handsomeness scale. While he's very average and unassuming during daily life, a neutral expression on his face most times, he can be very expressive when something happens to scare or excite him. Even after being frightened, he'll attempt to put on an air of professionalism once he's calmed down again, acting as if he hadn't ever been terrified.

Personality: Kenshin does his best to act like a mature, well-adjusted adult. He tends to try to take those younger than him under his wing, offering guidance and wisdom... although said guidance can be rather questionable at times. Around other adults his age and older he shows a professional respect, always doing his best to keep himself in people's good graces until he needs or wants something from them. His old job in sales has helped him learn how to be very convincing and good with people one on one.He always does his best to keep a calm, cool demeanor in non-violent confrontations, always restraining himself or his friends from blowing up over insults or jeers. His philosophy is one of never being the first to strike, without a truly justifiable reason, like to save someone. Or to gain the element of surprise so he can run away from danger.
Kenshin prefers to leave fighting to other people when he can, much happier to trust his allies take on a criminal head-on or to just call the police in situations that don't seem to involve powers in any major way. Despite this, he can't bring himself to run away if he thinks someone is about to be killed in front of him without his personal intervention. He considers himself a detective, not a SWAT team member, much preferring to trick and apprehend criminals without a huge fight in a public area. While he will give light applause for people demonstrating their powers, he doesn't see them as some kind of divine gift. As far as he's concerned, it's just a skill some people have. Some people are good at math, some people can shoot energy beams. Both are valuable things in the right situations, and he can get easily irritated by people who think that they're better than everyone else in every way, because they happen to have an amazing gift in one area.
Kenshin always tries his hardest to avoid casualties in any encounter, only accepting lethal force when a criminal is clearly willing to harm innocent civilians in the immediate area. He does not however have any qualms about telling lies to get what he wants out of people, always willing and ready to trick information out of anyone who happens to be around, or manipulate them into helping him.
Personality Quirks: Freaks out whenever his suit gets damaged or stained, tending to get incredibly frustrated and demanding whoever caused the damage to pay for a new one, regardless of how dangerous situation he's in or if it was just an accident.

Motivations: Kenshin believes that people who don't have powers should still have the right to live their lives free of constant fear of people with powers. He likes the way society works and wants to make sure that people with powers don't disrupt it too much, preferring they simply integrate as best they can.

Character History: Kenshin spent the majority of his life with no idea he had the potential to have any sort of powers. He always believed he was just a normal kid. It wasn't until he was in high school that he learned he had the ability to nullify someone's power when he stopped a fireball throwing middle schooler from bullying another kid. Despite this, he still thought he couldn't be very helpful with his power. It wasn't like he could fly somewhere when he heard about a crime. The best he could do was stop whatever he happened upon. So he decided to continue spending the rest of his life as a normal person, getting a job in sales, being professional, living in an apartment, hitting on women, everything a normal person would do while stopping the occasional fight when he could. His life became rather routine and boring... until he found an ad for a certain detective agency that would focus on crime and criminals that involved powers. The thought of helping people without being one of those big flashy superheroes or even a plain policeman was more than enough for him to decide it was time for a change of career.
