| Skill Set Name:Imagination Breaker Classifications:Trump, Thinker and Striker. Skill Set Information: Focusing on Kenshin's natural nullification abilities, this skillset focuses on rendering the powers of enemies useless against him and leaving them open to attacks with tricky tactics. It doesn't have much in the way of a presence, only a slight mint glow forming around him when he defends against powerful techniques. Passives: Draining touch: Just coming into contact with a Trump user can leave someone feeling weaker. Whenever a character comes in physical contact with Kenshin, their passive abilities are nullified for their post following the touch.
Natural Mental Barrier: Kenshin's soul keeps him protected even from mental assault. When defending from will techniques, Kenshin's Will stat receives a bonus equal to 1/2 of his defense.
Neutralizing touch: Kenshin can instantly cancel out lasting effects of powers on himself as well as others by touching them quickly. i.e., eliminating poison effects, snuffing out flames caused by powers, dispelling the controlling effects of a Master on an ally/bystander, etc. Only works if Reigen touches them on his post after the effect would be started. Does not affect effects caused by B-rank techniques or higher.
Skill Set Strengths: -Renders the powers of most people ineffective, making them easier to subdue. -Can be used to take people off-guard, helping end fights before they drag on too long. Skill Set Weakness: -Is ineffective against machinery. -Has little to no long or mid-range attacks.

Technique Name: Null Blaster Technique Rank C Technique Focus Defense Technique Classification(s) Trump Technique's Duration Instant Technique Description: Kenshin focuses his power into stopping energy techniques with one or both hands. Any Blaster class technique that has less power than 75% of his defense that he touches is erased from existence, disappearing as if it never existed. If he cannot react in time to catch the technique with his hands and it hits any other part of his body it only needs to have more than 50% of his defense to avoid being cancelled. Can be used against Single target or AOE techs. Costs 25VP.
Technique Name: Strength Stopper Technique Rank C Technique Focus Defense Technique Classification(s) Trump Technique's Duration 4 posts Technique Description: Kenshin braces himself in preperation against physical attacks. Upon contact with Kenshin in this state, Any bonuses to strength caused by a technique(s) equal to this technique's rank or lower are negated for 1 post. Cost 10VP per post.
Technique Name: Hypnosis Punch Technique Rank C Technique Focus Intelligence/Strength Technique Classification(s) Thinker/striker Technique's Duration Instant Technique Description: Kenshin gets the target(s) attention, usually shouting something at them while pulling a coin on a string out of his pocket and swaying it like a pendulum as he slowly walks towards the target. If the target's Perception is lower than 75% of Kenshin's Intelligence, they are distracted by his antics and focus on the coin, not because of some power but simply because it looks ridiculous and is amusingly dumb. Once close enough, Kenshin suddenly uses his other hand to punch the target he's focused on. The punch is treated as if it has 100% strength because it is used while their guard is down. This technique does not work if the target has seen it before or if the target is engaged in active combat against another PC. If the target's perception is higher than his intelligence, they notice the trick and can avoid it if their speed is higher than 75% of Kenshin's speed. Cost 25VP per use.
Technique Name: Blast Dampener Technique Rank D Technique Focus Defense Technique Classification(s) Trump Technique's Duration Instant Technique Description: Kenshin spreads his arms and braces himself against an AoE power. If his defense is higher than the explosion's power, it is held back, only reaching 1/2 of it's full blast radius before receding back until it ceases to exist. Does not works on tech explosions, such as bombs or dynamite. Costs 10 VP per use.
Technique Name: Justifiable Self defense rush Technique Rank D Technique Focus Attack Technique Classification(s) Striker Technique's Duration Instant Technique Description: Kenshin unleashes a flurry of small rapid hits, performing 4 punching strikes, each one having power equal to 50% of his strength.
Technique Name: Distracting words Technique Rank D Technique Focus Intelligence Technique Classification(s) Thinker Technique's Duration Instant Technique Description: Kenshin unleashes a heated debate at a target, attracting their attention if their intelligence is 75% lower than his. Lowers target(s) perception by 15 for 1 post, making it easier for allies to sneak around without being noticed. Can affect up to 5 targets. Cost 10VP per use. Does not work on targets who are currently in close combat.
Technique Name: Anti-Super Dropkick Technique Rank C Technique Focus Attack Technique Classification(s) Striker Technique's Duration Instant Technique Description: Kenshin puts his weight into a drop kick against a target. Has 75% of his strength stat for power. Any power-based boosts to the target's defense are nullified for 2 posts unless caused by tech/gear of B rank or higher. Costs 25VP per use.

I would also allow this if it worked for only the post following the touch as a passive.

If not, how long does the user have to do this? Does it instantly break the aforementioned effects or does it only provide a bonus? Also at what point can the abilities simply outpower this as a passive?

Another note, does this work on abilities he cannot react to? Does he need to consciously know of and touch the ability and does it only work on single target abiltiies or AOEs as well?Costs 25VP.

Remember, as a D rank this ability would not be as powerful as it would be if you were to make it at C or B rank and is considered a 'beginner' technique. Costs 10VP per use. | |
