General Appearance: Daeny’s is a small and slender woman, her general style is noted to be similar to ‘Gothic Lolita’, from short to long dresses, bows, dark and light colors mixing. It can also be noted that her hair is usually up in several long spiral like braids, however there can be times that she has it totally down, in which case it will be down past her waist, though still very much styled in spiral curls. She often wears a small cross necklace similar to her husband, Kitaro. Personality: As one might expect, Daeny’s is generally a kind and loving woman, caring for everyone, wanting to be that ‘mother’ figure everyone wants, however there is a demon inside of Daenys that wants to come out quite a lot, though the demon laid dormant for many years because of the birth of her son, she found herself calmed down, with a happy little family and the love of her husband she was fine with the world; it wasn’t until around a year ago that Daeny’s outlook on life changed, and she allowed that demon she held in for so long to finally come out to play. Though she still has her sweet and loving side towards people, when someone pisses her off, and does something she sees as unfit and wrong, she becomes a totally different person, a person who’s hatred for the nobles, more specifically the world nobles, known as Celestial Dragons, to come out, a blackout rage forms in the body of this tiny woman, that doesn’t become satisfied until the wrong that was done is fixed.

As Daeny’s has two very different sides, she’s only actually aware of a single side, that being her ‘normal’ side, as the motherly figure to all beings, her memory during these rages doesn’t transfer over to her other side once she is out of them. She doesn’t believe in slavery, she views it as immoral and totally out of the question, and those who partake in the practice are immoral beings that don’t deserve a second chance. Even though second chances are something that she believes everyone should be entitled to, as everyone will make a mistake now and again; though every fiber of her being is thrown towards being good, she also has a wild side, the side that brought her to her husband, although the two grew up together; she was raised as a ‘lady’ of sorts, to view all things equally and treat each person in the same manner. Yet, that wild side is what brought her to wanting to be free, as well as seeing all people free, a large goal in her life is to seek that freedom for herself and others; what can you expect from a D.? Her husband seeking a similar goal, is why she fell for him. Thrill seeking, fun and freedom brought her the life of piracy; a way to be free, though still wanted by the Government due to being known as a ‘criminal’ in their eyes.

Likes:

Singing Something Daenys’ has enjoyed since she was a small child, singing played a large role in her life throughout her years, teaching herself out to sing even, some may say when she sings, she sounds like an ‘angel’.
Baking/Cooking As the third daughter of the Seastar family, she was taught how to properly be a ‘wife’, from baking to cooking she enjoyed it all very much, a skill she still uses to this day.
Fighting A strange like, one many might not expect, fighting became a rather large role in Daenys’ life when she became a pirate, she wasn’t about to let the men have all the fun after all.
Beli Who doesn’t like beli? Of course, Daenys’ was bound to love it; she became rather quick on learning how to manage money properly, being her crews’ money manager.

Dislikes:

Slavery An obvious dislike for Daenys’, since her son was taken she really became full swing towards hatred for it, slavery is something she wishes to see demolished.
Stupidity Although she views everyone as a son or daughter, she becomes rather annoyed if they preform stupid acts, or say something generally stupid. Of course no matter what she would still love them, but they need to be punished for being stupid..
Marines/Nobles A large dislike for Daenys are marines, or nobles; due to what happened a year ago, she has grown a rather large hatred for them.

Motivations: To see all men and women, of every race, treated equally and free, as well as having her son returned.
Fears:

Death Of course a large fear for Daenys’ would be death, she isn’t planning on dying anytime soon, but part of her knows that it could happen at any point, before she dies she wants to see her son set free.
Never seeing her son again Somewhat tying in with death, she also fears of never seeing her son again, a large goal in her life is to have him be set free, too rejoin her family once again, but the thought of that never happening again, never seeing the smiling face of her precious boy again breaks her heart. If this fear ever came true, it might as well kill her.
Losing sight of her goalsWith everything happening in the world, and increasing number of not only marines but pirates, Daenys’ worries that she, and the rest of her crew will lose sight of their real goals in life.

Character History:

Life is strange, it doesn’t matter how you’re raised, or what you avoid, fate will bring you to where you need to be. And this was the case when it came to Daenys’, raised as a lady, though her inner freedom took her over, as the fates would test. The fates brought her to a man by the name of Kitaro when she was 15 years old, though they grew up near each other; she never interacted much with him until then. This would be the first time she really noticed the man she would then spend the rest of her days with.

Love didn’t come as easily as everyone thought between the two of them, it took several years of being friends before the love really came out in bloom, she admired his freedom, something she hadn’t acquired yet, until the day she turned 17, it had been two years since she and Kitaro actually became friends that she realized that she loved him, when he left and was gone for six months, she truly felt fear for the first time… Waiting by the docks every day, waiting to see when or if he would return to their home town, Loguetown, she waited, writing in her book he had left her, every single day until his return, when he did she finally told him her feelings, not only the love she had for him, but her want to spend the rest of her life with him, as well as wanting to travel the seas with him.

And thus they fell in love, for the next three years the two would travel with a small crew around East Blue, in the third year of travel, Daenys’ fell pregnant, and nine months from that, she would give birth to their first son, Marco D. Seastar, and for the next four years life would be perfect on the open sea. Their son growing in a world where he would be free to be who he wanted, and love as he pleased.
Perfect could describe those four years… Until that fateful day when they went to Drum Beat Archipelago, gathering supplies, Marco took off from his parents, running into a Celestial Dragon, where he would then be captured and taken in as a slave. When Daenys first saw the actions taken, her heart broke into two, letting out one of those screams that would cause a movie to go silent, and the color to turn black and white to show the emotion of a scream so full of pain and terror, she lunged to get her baby boy, only to be stopped by Kitaro, knowing that if she went for their son, she would die in the process. He was protecting her in the end, even though his heart was breaking at the same time… A vow was made that day, only one year ago, that they would take down the corrupt system that is called the Government, and the nobles, returning their son home, and the many sons and daughters of others who had them taken away.
