Devil fruit List

(Note: I am aware that the Kaze Kaze no mi is a very OP fruit so I will also be showcasing one of the custom weaknesses I gave it in this sample)

The young girl ran from the hoard chasing after her. Who were they and what did they want? She honestly wished she had known the reason however she couldn’t seem to recall anything besides her name, Uri. In fact she had no idea where she was. All she could remember was waking up against the wall, staring at the large leader of the hoard looking at her with a deadly glare. He had kept screaming at her about eating his fruit and hit her with something that gave a bruise on her jawbone. Who was the leader and why did he care about her eating a piece of fruit? Although she had no memory of eating anything before she woke up, there was a distinct, disgusting taste in her mouth that refused to go away. The man must have really liked that type of fruit if he was irate over one of the worst things she had possibly eaten.

However she had found herself cornered. “No escaping me you little bitch. You’ve made the wrong move messing with a marine.” The leader growled as he shot a gun at her. Out of fear, Uri cringed before she found herself in what was the strangest thing that ever happened in her life. The bullet hit her body however, it phased through her body and a small gust of wind blew out where her body was shot. Both the leader and Uri herself was dumbfounded by this. The leader cursed before saying in a low voice, “I forgot the damn girl ate a logia devil fruit. Our attacks aren’t going to do anything. Unless… Seize her! Make sure you use your Busoshoku Haki when attacking, if we don’t there is no in hell’s way we can win a fight against one, even if she gotten her abilities very recently."

Uri didn’t have time to question what he said before she received a rough punch in the face. However, unlike last time the punch didn’t go through her, it hit her hard. A new bruise began to form upon her eye. She winced and noticed the man’s arm was coated with a black like substance. Was this what they had called Haki? How did it not phase through her like the bullet from the gun that was fired from her did?

She did not know what a devil fruit was nor had any idea what it is. However, Uri knew one thing. That disgusting fruit she must have eaten before she had lost her memory had granted a powerful ability upon her. One that she had no idea how to control. Perhaps what she had eaten would be the key to getting out this situation. She began to shift her body and stood up with confidence and a wide smirk upon her face. The leader narrowed his eyes before muttering, “Let’s go you treasure stealing bitch.”

She began to move fluidly as if she had done this many times before. Before the man could bring down another punch she quickly moved to the side. For the first time since being cornered, she spoke, "You're too slow." The smirk on her face seemed to grow wider as she saw the outraged expression of the Marine leader. A small chuckle escaped her throat as she began to taunt him some more, "You sure you want to face after me slowpoke? A measly human being can never out-speed the wind."

He growled in anger, "You little bitch. I am going to kill you." However before she knew it another attack came over her; another marine began his attack as well. However unlike his leader his weapon wasn't covered in Haki. Waves of flames overcame her. Her fear prevented her to move properly and she simply raised her hands to cover her face in fear. However, rather than being able to phase through the flames she was burned. Although her hands took most of the brunt of the flames a few flames licked her face. She screeched.

"Good thinking, the wind is weak to extreme heat." The leader snarled as he landed another punch at her. She was suddenly knocked into the air before she felt herself falling into a pile of trash. She was dazed at the last hit however she was vaguely aware of the laughter that was in her ears. Her heart beat heavily in her chest. She knew this was a fight she could not win so she had to find a way to escape or she would be the one who would be killed in this situation. She was already bruised and burned and her vision was clouded. Was this it? Was she about to die? No, she could not. Uri refused to die in a situation like this.

“You think just because you can exploit one of my weaknesses you think I can be killed so easily? You shouldn’t underestimate my strength marines.” Inhaling deeply she stared eye to eye with the marines; she then exhaled, blowing a large gust of wind at the hoarde. The force of the wind blew them backward as they screamed. The leader attempted to shoot a bullet at her, most likely in hope that she would not be able to avoid the attack. Instead she phased through easily and was able to make her escape. However the marines were quickly recovering and approaching her with such speed that she knew if she didn’t hurry she would not live to see another day.

Closing her eyes, she knew she had to follow her senses if she wanted to live. She wanted to escape and live for many years to come. Closing her eyes she let her instincts take control of her body. She felt a strange feeling as if she were shifting and when she opened it, she found her body was gone and a voice rang through the air. “Where did that damn girl go boss?”

“That bitch turned into the wind. We can’t see her now. Go shoot around, she's weak. She won't be able to be wind forever. When you see her... you know what to do. Anyone who is able to bring me her head will be finely rewarded. People can't expect to mess with me and go away Scott-free.” Realization came over her, Uri had transformed into wind. However she knew she couldn’t stay long to test the limits of her power. However she had a choice that needed to be made, either she could stay and fight the group or she could flee. Hesitating for a few seconds she suddenly felt weak as if maintaining this form took much strength out of her. She decided to follow her latter instinct, resisting the temptation of staying to finish them all off. Using this new form she quickly rode the wind and flew away. Although she merely went at most 50 meters before she unintentionally transformed back to her normal form.

She had distance between the marine and her, however when she transformed back she was standing right in front of another human being. Shock overcame her features, thinking he was another marine as she vaguely remembered seeing him near the skirmish. “Don’t worry; I’m not one of them. I rather die than work for the World Government."

"Then who are you?" Uri asked hesitantly as she backed away. Trusting someone seemed very risky in a situation like hers when one wrong move can be life or death.

"Are you that girl that just escaped  from the marines using that wind logia?” She nodded slowly.

The man then smiled before holding out his hand for her, “You can call me no friend of the marines nor whom they work for. I’m from the revolutionary army; I think a person like you will be suited for our cause.”

We start the story on an island in the North Blue, where a pirate crew has just come ashore, striving to take over the island. The pirate crew is well known in the North Blue Blue and have been terrorizing its seas for the past 8 months. It's a crew of 20 or so odd men, with a name that isn't important because it will not be known throughout the Blue Sea. This group landed on the opposite side of the village they wanted to plunder. In between the crew and village was a small mountain that more of a wall than a mountain. The only way to get to the village was by crossing over the mountain and so their journey began.

On their way up the mountain, the crew could hear some commotion further up the mountain. Eventually they wandered upon a small plateau where a lively cabin could be seen. On the porch of the cabin were about 6 former mountain bandits, chatting, only stopping when seeing the group of pirates. One of the bandits stomped on the wood porch twice and within seconds, 20 more bandits came out of the cabin. The captain and the leader of the bandits had a stare off until the bandit said "I wouldn't mess with that village if I were you." "I don't care what you say, I'm the man who's gonna rule these seas one day! This island is nothing but another conquest." The bandits had seen many pirates like them, and it was always the same. The leader chuckled and said "Just watch out for the Cloud Guardian, Nephos." With a wave of his hands, the men went back inside and resumed their little party. "Cloud Guardian? Nephos? What kind of name is that?" He looked at his men in bewilderment and bellowed "No one will stand in our way!" The crew ran off, leaving the cabin behind. "Tried to warn 'em..."

On the other side of the island in the community known as Twin Village we go to Masayoshi Drago...

For Masayoshi, it was but another day in Twin Village; he trained in the morning and then read some books. Now he was floating around the village on a cloud, searching for some excitement, but everyone seemed lethargic, but that's to be expected as the sun was setting within the hour. "Dammit... guess I'll just go nap somewhere." he said to himself. "Or here..." With those last two words, Masayoshi fell asleep, still still afloat on his cloud. The wind tends to carry Masayoshi around the village and sometimes into the forest below the mountain. This is something that occurs quite often in this village, most of the townsfolk have gotten used to it and just ignore him, while some of the children prank him, but that's to be expected. This particular evening, the winds of destiny led him to the forest.

The pirate crew from earlier had finally made it down from the mountain and they were now in clearing in the forest. In this clearing, they were discussing how they were going to raid the village. While this discussion was going on, one of the members of the crew noticed something moving through the trees. The wind had unknowingly carried Masayoshi into the clearing. The captain of the pirates looked at the floating man, and cried out "The Cloud Guardian?!" The loud scream caused Masayoshi to snap out of his sleep. He looked around, confused at where he was, before realizing he was in front of a group of random pirates. Masayoshi scratched his head and casually said "Yo."

The crew was in firing position and were ready to shoot at any moment, they were just waiting for the captain's order and then it came... "Fire!" All 20 or so odd men fired shots at Masayoshi, only becoming more surprised when the bullets whizzed through his mist like body. "He must be a logia!" one of the crew members shouted. Masayoshi jumped down from his cloud. The cloud he was on then rose up into the sky over the clearing and grew large enough to cover the clearing and block out the moonlight. The cloud was dark grey, with lightning seen flickering through it. While this happened, Masayoshi spoke to the men in a booming voice "If you can't get past me, then what hope do you have in that harsh sea. You're not ready! Don't ever come back to the island of the Pirate King ever again!"

The men looked scared out of their wits, their dreams seemingly crushed. Masayoshi pointed his finger at them and with a downward movement he yelled "Nimbus: Clap!" A surge of lightning came down and electrocuted the entire group. When it was over, all of the men had been knocked unconscious. Masayoshi then heard the rustle of some leaves and instantly knew who it was. "I know it's you, fools." Out of the forest came Baron, the former bandit from earlier, and his group. The former mountain bandits use to rob Twin Village, until Masayoshi became strong enough to stop them. Now they worked for him. "Go dump them back on their boat for me, will ya?" he said while walking away. "Aye!" Baron said with a salute, a slight grin on his face. Masayoshi then stopped, turned and said with a wide grin "And take everything on their ship!"

It was a typical night in the east blue, most people already went to their houses to call it a day. However a pirate boy still wandered the streets of loguetown. He passed through a shop on his way to the docks but as he was walking he heard yelling within an alley, He peeked through to see what was happening. He saw an injured woman lying on the floor she had short brown hair and she was presumably in her late 20's, He looked infront of her and he saw 2 men robbing her. He decided to walk out and help the woman. On his way to her the robbers looked at him "Hey kid, you lost your mommy? Boys like you shouldn't be awake at this time you might get grounded!" They started laughing at the comment. While the robbers laughed the boy he knelt down next to the woman and gave her a box with some bandages and medications "Take this and go somewhere you can take care of these wounds safely" The woman looked at him, although she was still frightened she manage to get a hold of herself and nodded she then stood up and proceeded to run away.

The robbers snapped and yelled at the woman "Stop right there!" but before they knew it she already ran off from their sight. The robbers glared at the Kid who was walking away without a care in the world "Kid do you know what you just did?" one of the robbers yelled at him. He stopped and responded "You're annoying keep it down people are sleeping." The response only angered them more. One of the robbers runned to him and placed his hand on the boy's shoulder "You're going to pay for what you just did boy!" the boy looked back at him "I told you to keep it down, you're going to wake up someone with that tone of yours." The robber took out a pistol and pointed it at the boy "Kid you finally got on my last nerve, this was only a simple robbery but you forced me to turn it into a murder!" The robber shot the boy in the chest and walked away laughing "You should've stayed home kid then none of this would've happened!". Just then a piece of paper flew next to the robber who decided to stay back. He grabbed the paper and started reading it, then he called out to his boss to come and take a look at it.

"What is it you want you want to show me this time?" he grabbed the paper out of a the other robber's hand a started reading it. "Oh my my my! what is a little runt like him carrying such a high bounty. This might be the easiest attempt on earning beli i've ever done!" he looked back at his partner and yelled "Why are you still standing there? grab the body and take it with us!" The other robber nodded and started walking towards the body. As the robber went to grab the body he stood in shock to see that the boy was still standing there unharmed. The arm of the boy began to form into a bigger more rocky one. The robber looked at it in fear but before he could react the boy plunged his fist into the robber's face leaving the him unconscious. "What the...!" The robber looked behind him only to see a huge cloud of smoke, as it cleared off the robber saw the boy crushing his partner's head into the floor with his large rock-like fist. The robber stared at him and asked "Just what are you kid?", The boy looked up and replied to the robber  "Im the Doctor."
