Fruit List and Registration

On the famous land mass well-known for training mighty warriors, a child at the age of 8 stood on the sand terrain of a beach. The waves gentle plowed at the edge of this certain area on the island, occasionally splashing saltwater on it's loose sedimentary ground. The boy in question was Malik Roberts, whom was in a fighting stance. The very reason for why he was at his home's beach is due to the fact he was training. His goal behind this is to become stronger and stronger still in order to become one of the most powerful fighters within the enormous world he lived in. It was an interesting goal and he wondered what kind of opponents he will face in the future. Of course, that will be years from now, so he will decide to wait and see what it had in store for him. Of course, he goal to become the strongest is part of his dream to become a hero. A person who defends the innocent and combats evil. One of the many things he will do as a hero is to help carve out a path to a bright future. To help spread happiness to everyone and smite the wicked. Thinking about putting smiles on individuals' faces made himself happy. As he stood in his fighting stance, he pulled his right hand back. With a swift motion he thrusted it forward, performing a basic punch. He repeated the same action with his left hand as he pulled back and launched forward in a similar fashion to the latter. He was refreshing on his martial arts, which he learned from his parents. He didn't want to be rusty, considering he was going to become one of the most powerful fighters within the world.

While he continued to further practice his current level of mastery in hand-to-hand combat, a certain mysterious object had caught his view. He momentarily stopped what he was doing and turned his gaze along with his whole body to the unknown item. This is so he is able to more carefully see what it was that appeared within his sight while training. He squinted his gaze to get a better looking at what kind of object it was. Whatever it was, it had peaked the boy's interest. His narrowed eyes had became a look of surprised, one of excitement. He immediately rushed to the mysterious object. When he was at a close enough distance, it was discovered that it was a fruit of some kind. From it's appearance alone it was shaped like an ordinary piece of produce, but had feature that made it quite unique. Their were swirls covering it's surface as well as the stem itself curving into a swirl as well. Undoubtedly, what Malik sees before him was a Devil Fruit. His father had told him various stories about these different kinds of fruit that eaten one will grant you incredible powers. However, the price one pays for eaten a Devil Fruit is that the person in question loses their ability to swim, since the sea will reject them. One would have to be ignorant or otherwise very daring to try one. The powers one gets is left up to chance. Malik was in no way ignorant, he was, however, daring. The boy swallowed to cleared his throat, tension mounting within his body. He soon walked closer to the Devil Fruit, bending down and picking it up with both hands. He stood up again as he gaze at the mysterious food in his grasp.

Even if I lose the ability to swim, I will still have a cool power to compensate. It is a fair price to pay." The young martial artist-in-training thought as he continued to look at the fruit within his palms. I wants to consume it, but just keeps holding it in place, being careful to think the situation over about the positives and negatives. If he gains powers, he will no longer be able to swim. However, he would gain quite an advantage unlike ordinary human beings, having powers that would make him a formidable opponent to behold. However, the problem was is what he would get. Malik's father had also told him that the powers one would get from eating a Devil Fruit can vary from being mundane to even, what other considered, god-like. It is left up to chance to what otherworldly abilities he would receive after consuming such a fruit. When he was finished reviewing the situation over within his mind, he had a firm resolve to gain powers, despite the negatives. He took a deep breath, quickly exhaling outwards to help relieve himself of any anxiety. With motion set in place, Malik moved the fruit closer to his lips for consumption. Opening his mouth, he bit a good large piece out of it, but the moment he tasted it, his dawn an expression of disgust. He was told that Devil Fruits had an awful taste and was hard to stomach. Despite this, the boy chewed down on the fruit, forgetting the horrible flavor of sort. With one big gulp, he swallowed the piece of the fruit.

"Yuck, that was the nastiest piece of fruit I have ever eaten, disgusting." He openly said, outwardly expressing on what he thought when taking a bite of the mysterious, oddly colored fruit. He then, sat what remained of it in his hands down onto the sandy shore. Standing back up, he waited to see what might happen now that he had eaten the Devil Fruit in the first place. As he waited, a sudden surge shot through his entire body as if electricity was coursing in his veins. He looked down at his hands, becoming aware that his body is somehow different compared to others now. He then, proceeded to hold his right hand outward into the great body of water, it's waves smashing against the rocks beside one of the cliffs close to the beach. He concentrated on producing something from his body, trying to see how the environment would be affected. As he did, an astounding occurrence took place. There in the boy's right hand, a large mass of electricity had been created. Keep with the moment, Malik pulled his palm back and with a thrust, a lightning bolt shot forth into the distance. When he was done, he stood there in total shock with cackling electricity still around his hand. His gaze then, shifted to it. He balled it into a fist and plastered a small smile across his face.

"I think I am going to like this power. Wait until my family sees that I can fire lightning out of his hand." He thought, excited to train with his new extraordinary abilities. Little did Malik know, he didn't just controlled lightning, he was now made of it as well.
